As per a recent trademark submission, Hyundai appears to be developing a brand-new electric pickup truck. Called the Hyundai Ioniq T10, the filing suggests the T10 may be a new EV crossover. While this new EV could potentially expand Hyundai’s EV lineup, the South Korean automaker has not officially disclosed any details regarding the T10. Based on Hyundai’s latest additions however, namely the Ioniq 5N, it’s more than likely we may see the addition of a new EV model. Hyundai has also been working on new EV technology like its Active Air Skirt system which is intended to improve the automaker’s EVs. For now, we’ll take a closer look at the filing and see what consumers can expect.

New Potential EV Truck Called Hyundai T10 Revealed

A recent trademark application suggests that Hyundai may be developing an all-new electric pickup truck dubbed the Hyundai T10. As a crossover vehicle, this new EV truck could mark the latest addition to Hyundai’s expanding EV portfolio. Despite no official statements from the South Korean automaker, Hyundai’s ongoing efforts in electrification lead to a high likelihood that the T10 could be the latest model. Looking at the trademark filing, the description encompasses a range of vehicle categories including automobiles, electric cars, trucks, and SUVs. Hyundai’s recent unveiling of the Ioniq 5N underscores the company’s commitment to delivering highly capable and versatile EVs. The introduction of Hyundai’s innovative Active Air Skirt system also reflects the company’s forward-thinking approach. Based on the current industry trend with numerous automakers focusing on EVs, the idea of a new electric pickup truck from Hyundai is not unexpected.

Hyundai recently introduced a new EV platform called the IMA platform. Hyundai CEO Jaehoon Chang highlighted the capabilities of the platform stating it would “encompass nearly all vehicle classes ranging from small and large SUVs to pickup trucks.” This suggests that the Hyundai Ioniq T10 could potentially be the next addition to Hyundai’s EV lineup. Additionally, the trademark filing also included a request for the Ioniq T7 trademark, hinting at the possibility of another EV truck in development. As Hyundai continues to invest in electrification, the industry is slowly building up global EV infrastructure and charging networks. It’s clear Hyundai is racing to be at the forefront of that EV wave. For now, we’ll be staying tuned for more information.
