The latest study conducted tested nearly 50 electric vehicles. The Ioniq 6 ranked third overall, just behind the Kia EV9 and BMW IX. The assessment focused on ride quality, charging capability, and performance. Although it didn’t secure the top spot, the Ioniq 6’s high ranking highlights its capability and versatility.
The Ioniq 6 boasts an impressive 361-mile battery range. While this is slowly becoming the standard for modern EVs, the all-electric sedan stands out for its fast charging capabilities. Thanks to Hyundai’s new e-platform, future models of the Ioniq 6 are expected to charge even more quickly. The Ioniq 6 offers two powertrain options: a single-motor setup with rear-wheel driver and a dual-motor version with all-wheel drive. The single-motor drive produces 149 horsepower while the dual-motor generates 320 horsepower. Those wanting increased performance will want to opt for the dual-motor version as it features a 0 to 60 mph of just 4.3 seconds. This is on top of delivering an engaging and smooth driving experience.
Inside the Ioniq 6, owners will find a minimalist and spacious cabin. Able to accommodate up to five passengers, the sedan features a quiet interior thanks to sound-deadening materials.
